Although it is women which are large fans of canopy beds, you will also see a lot of men who love canopy beds. Canopy beds are sold in major department stores, furniture stores and even online merchants. There are many choices available today and you will never fell limited. A new canopy bed will cost you $500 to $1000 but it will depend on the materials used and the design. There are two types of canopy beds. There are canopy beds made for outdoor use and canopy beds made for indoor use.

An indoor canopy bed is made to be used inside the house, in the comforts of your bedroom. Indoor canopy beds are made from a variety of materials like wood, wrought iron, steel and many more. There are different design acessories such as canopy bed style curtains. They also come in different sizes, twin sizes, queen sizes and king sizes. Indoor canopy beds have different price ranges depending on the materials used and craftsmanship. Indoor canopy beds made by big companies cost a lot more than those made by unknown companies. However, you should not let the name and brand fool you. There are many durable and beautiful indoor canopy beds made by unrecognized names which are just as durable ad as excellent as those made by big names.

Outdoor canopy beds are especially made for outdoor use. Specially coated materials are used for these beds. They are resistant to the UV rays of the sun, the water and the other elements. They have also treated to make them resist rust.  They are more expensive than your regular canopy beds because of the materials used. Most of these beds are also bigger than indoor canopy beds because they are meant to be use in open areas.
